I KNEW FOR A WHILE...
I always find it so interesting to follow a couples journey from eshoot to wedding and beyond... but with this couple it goes a little further than that. It's a surreal feeling shooting engagement photos for a friend you went to elementary school with. From Sacred Heart Elementary, to St. Mikes High School, to the Betty's dish-pit, Brandon and I go way back. I remember a few years ago Brandon lent his good looks for me to practice some photos on, and at the end of the shoot he mentioned how he planned to purpose in a few years and hoped she would say yes. It feels like that conservation was weeks ago rather than years, but here we are!
...Not to mention telling your friends to kiss is always a bit awkward...
but wow what a great shoot! Nicole came prepared with some many amazing ideas that she wanted to do. Ironically we both brought the exact same champagne bottle and glasses, on the same day!
needless to say, I can't wait for their wedding day.
